Philadelphia – City of Brotherly Love

I live in the greater Philadelphia area, but it is a lot easier to just say I am from Philly.  This is a picture of Philadelphia’s city hall (center of picture).  It was taken from the top of 4th tallest building where I attending a wedding.
The Philadelphia area is a great location.  It is close to the beach in the summer, or mountain skiing in the winter.  It is located between New York City and Washington DC. For history buff’s like me, there is plenty to see.  From Independence Hall and the signings  of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States.  Expanding out a little further and there are many sites of historical importance from the site where General George Washington and the Continental Army crossed the Delaware River to attack Trenton on Christmas of 1776, to the high water mark of the US Civil War at Gettysburg battlefield.

  1. Hi Adam! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Philadelphia. Although I have never been, I will be travelling there in about a month for work.
